Jet Li is a famous Asian male actor. He has been featured in many movies both in U.S and in Asia. Some of Jet Li’s hobbies are martial arts, and of course acting. Jet Li was born in Beijing, China on April 26, 1963. He is currently 47 years of age. We had just found out that his birthday is today! Li’s family has had many troubles when Li was born.

This movie is about a young man played as Rick O’Connell as he researches about the tomb of the first emperor. This movie is based on the Qin Dynasty and Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. Jet Li also has other movies such as, The Forbidden Kingdom, Romeo Must Die, and one of his newest ones, Fearless. In my opinion all his movies are great!

One of Jet Li’s favorite hobbies is martial arts. He has won many competitions in the past. We have found out that Jet Li is Buddhist. He is Tibetan Buddhism. He likes to travel because on wikipedia, we read that he has experienced a tsunami at the Maldives. He began his wushu experience when he joined the Beijing Wushu Team, an athletic group made to perform martial arts during the All China Games. As a member of the team, he received wushu training and won 15 gold medals and 1 silver medal in Chinese wushu championships. Jet Li said, once, as a child, when the Chinese National Wushu Team went to perform for President Richard Nixon in the US, the president asked Jet Li to be his bodyguard. He nicely refused the offer and made a statement.

Jet Li is a good man, so he must have a wife and kids. He is married to a woman from the Wushu team. Her name is Huang Qiuyan. Jet Li and Huang Qiuyan has been married for a while and had ki4ds. But unfortunately they have been divorced since 1990. Couple years later, in 1999, he remarried a woman named Nina Li Chi, born in Shanghai. She was also a Hong Kong based actress.
